HOLLYWOOD GLAM MOOD BOARD

I LOVE INTERIORS
By Naz Sohni Uppal

The design style I have created is Hollywood Glam:

Living rooms for financially affluent people are meant to be shown off, entertain friends and family, as well, provide rest, relaxation, and security. This space is elegant, luxurious and opulent, where the owner can show off their economic success and enjoy their glammed-up, comfy and cozy living room. Inspirations used are: bold colours, plush, velvet, tufting, and a (faux) antique chandelier. I have incorporated: mirrors, a statement sofa, cut glass, silk, cushions, and faux fur. I want this room to be a proud achievement for the owner; they see the results of their hard work, effort and money every day.

Inspirational Images: peacocks, turquoise and purple calla lily orchids, stained glass windows

What I have included that is typical to this design style:

Fabric Swatches: floral print plush throw blanket; classic red damask partial-velvet wall paper; thick plush turquoise rug; round turquoise pillow with tuft, red silk pillow with shimmery details, silk purple pillow heavily detailed in flowers, and fuzzy faux fur purple pillow

Colour Samples: turquoises (dominant), reds (secondary), purples (accent), and white

Furniture Styles: thick and soft ribbed velvet turquoise accent chairs; tuft statement red leather sofa; mirror room separator; mirror geometric shaped coffee table and side tables; red, gold, and glass chandelier

Extras:

Artwork: watercolour world map

Collected Objects: mirror finish stand up spot light (symbol from Hollywood film and television sets); metal peacock statue (what space is inspired by)
